Happy Salmon - Game Review

From the creators of Exploding Kittens...brings Happy Salmon. I am going to be honest, one of the main reasons why I bought Happy Salmon is because it was from the creators of Exploding Kittens.

I was introduced to Exploding Kittens card games last year and loved them.

Anyways, as I was walking through the game aisle at Target, and I saw Happy Salmon. I had to pick it up because it was new to me and after reading the box, I was excited to see it was from the creators of Exploding Kittens along with the fact that it was for 6+ in age. Exploding Kittens, the original game starts at age 7+ and I felt like it's over Greyson's head, so we will revisit that game maybe next year.

with Happy Salmon - WooHOO! It's a WINNER, WINNER, Chicken Dinner! LOL! Everyone in our house loves this game - even the 19-year-old! That's been one of my missions when shopping for new cards and board games.

In a nutshell it's an interactive match game. The rounds are about 90 seconds or less and literally you can play it for hours. Another plus is that the instructions are super quick and easy to understand. Greyson really enjoys setting up the cards. The interactive part is really exciting for everyone, and I enjoy watching Greyson get into it.

After trying Happy Salmon, I can't wait to try some of the other new Exploding Kittens games with Greyson in the lower age frame such as The Best Worst Ice Cream and Hurry Up Chicken Butt. With Greyson being Autistic I tend to look for games that starts with her age or lower. Some people buy games for their children above their age group because they know that their kids can handle them and otherwise would be bored if not. For Greyson I don't like for her to be frustrated and so it works for us to buy games on her age timeframe or below it.

In short, I highly recommend Happy Salmon. It's truly a fun family interactive game. We give it a 5 out of 5 BRILLIANT stars!
